Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting for township residents are done on Wednesday's between 11:30 am and 6:30 pm and only done for the following purposes:

  • Federal Purposes (FBI background checks)

  • Non-New Jersey out of state background checks

  • Township Fire Department and Rescue Squad volunteer applicants

All other township residents needing fingerprinting for adoption, financial matters, immigration, naturalization, employment checks, visas, person records, and good conduct should contact Sagem Morpho by calling (877) 503-5981.

Firearms

All persons residing in Bridgewater Township wishing to purchase and own a firearm MUST fill out a firearms application and return the application to the Licensing Coordinator to be processed. Either stop in at the Communications Bureau window or download the application here.

Peddler/Solicitor Permits

All persons wishing to solicit within the Township of Bridgewater must apply by filling out an application. Applying for a Peddler/Solicitor Permit does not make you eligible to solicit. You MUST have a permit in your possession. Either stop in at the Communications Bureau window or download the application here.
