  Theft/Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card – April 3, 2009 @ 1853 hours, a resident of High Bridge reported that while shopping at the Bridgewater Common Mall, someone stole three of their credit cards.  The credit cards were then used at three stores at the mall.  The suspect charged over $5,300 on the three cards.

  Criminal Mischief – April 5, 2009 @ 0810 hours,
a resident of Greene, NY reported that someone threw a rock through the windshield of their 1995 Saab 900 while it was parked at the Days Inn.

  Shoplifting/Criminal Mischief Arrests – April 5, 2009 @ 1757 hours, a 13 year old girl from Bridgewater and a 13 year old girl from Raritan were arrested for shoplifting clothing from Bloomingdales.  The girls were also were charged with criminal mischief for damaging the clothing while they removed security sensors.

  Shoplifting Arrests – April 6, 2009 @ 1621 hours,
two 17 year old girls from Highland Park and Rachel Horowitz, 18, Highland Park were arrested for shoplifting jewelry from Claire’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.

  Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card – April 6, 2009 @ 1640 hours, a resident of Hillsborough came to police headquarters and reported their credit cards had been stolen in Flemington.  The credit cards were then used to make nearly $2,000 worth of charges at Target.

  Theft Arrest – April 7, 2009 @ 0950 hours,
Thomas Wieruszewski, 32, Somerville was arrested for the theft of a Gary Fisher mountain bike from a business on Union Avenue.  The arresting officer reported the owner of the bike saw Wieruszewski steal his bike and was able to apprehend Wieruszewski before he got away.  Wieruszewski was charged with a disorderly persons count of theft and released.

  Theft – April 7, 2009 @ 1842 hours,
a resident of West Paterson reported their 2000 Honda Civic was stolen from a parking lot at a business on Route 202/206.

  Shoplifting Arrest – April 7, 2009 @ 1843 hours,
Zaza Lomidze, 44, Middlesex was arrested for shoplifting an $88 pair of jeans from Lord and Taylor.

  Shoplifting Arrest – April 8, 2009 @ 1531 hours,
Floria Mesen, 52, Bridgewater was arrested and charged with shoplifting 3rd degree at TJ MAXX.  Mesen attempted to steal over $850 worth of clothing from the store.  Mesen was lodged in the Somerset County Jail in default of bail.

  Shoplifting Arrest – April 8, 2009 @ 2100 hours,
Dana Buchalski, 37, Somerset was arrested for shoplifting $168 worth of jewelry from Macy’s.

  Shoplifting Arrest – April 9, 2009 @ 1750 hours, Anthony A. Santaniello, 41, Bridgewater was arrested and charged with shoplifting 4th degree after an employee of Costco observed him exit the store without paying for a Playstation 3 game set.  Santaniello was released without bail.

  Burglary/Theft-  April 10, 2009 @ 1021 hours,
a resident of Harry Road reported someone entered their unlocked 2000 Chevy pickup and stole $600 cash and a Dell laptop valued at $400.

  DWI Arrest – April 11, 2009 @ 0331 hours, Christopher Woolf, 25, Bridgewater was arrested for DWI on Route 22 East.  Woolf was charged with DWI and speeding.

  DWI Arrest – April 11, 2009 @ 0301 hours, Edward J. Brown, 64, Millstone was arrested for DWI on Route 22 East.  Brown was charged with DWI, refusal to submit breath samples, failure to maintain a lane and failure to wear a seatbelt.

  DWI Arrest – April 11, 2009 @ 0959 hours,
Matthew J. Stevens, 20, Bridgewater was arrested for DWI while underage on Route 22 West.  Stevens was also charged with not having his headlights on during inclement weather.

  Shoplifting Arrest – April 11, 2009 @ 1302 hours, Robert W. Vogelsang, 41, Warren was arrested for shoplifting $55 worth of cabinet handles from the Home Depot on Promenade Boulevard.

  Burglary/Theft – April 12, 2009 @ 1338 hours,
a resident of Hallstead, PA reported someone entered their unlocked 1997 Jeep while it was parked on Crim Road.  A $200 Pioneer stereo was stolen from the vehicle.

  Criminal Mischief – April 12, 2009 @ 1706 hours,
a resident of Argonne Farm Road reported that someone punctured two tires on their truck that was left parked on the road.
