Distraction Theft – December 01, 2009 @ 1130 hours a resident of Gregory Avenue was distracted by two white
males claiming that they needed to survey the victim’s property.
One male escorted the victim to her back yard, the other male entered
the victim’s residence and removed a large sum of cash and an engagement
ring.
Theft – December 03, 2009 @ 1000 hours, unknown actors removed 16
sweaters valued at 1280.00 from Abercrombie and Fitch located at the
Bridgewater Commons Mall.
Shoplifting – December 03, 2009 @ 1641 hours, Rosemarie Morales
45, Bridgewater, was arrested for shoplifting.
Morales removed merchandise from Wegman’s valued at
$511.38
DWI Arrest- 12/04/09 @ 0055 hours Salvatore Campanella 24,
Middlesex, was arrested for DWI while traveling on
East Main Street.
Salvatore was also charged with failure to maintain a lane.
Theft – December 04, 2009 @ 1100 hours unknown suspects removed
12 shirts valued at $1074.00 from J. Crew located at the Bridgewater Commons
Mall.
Shoplifting Arrest- 12/04/09 @ 1404 hours Cheryl Colangelo 47,
Skillman, was arrested for shoplifting $110.93 worth of merchandise from
Costco.
DWI Arrest- 12/05/09 @ 0251 hours Jose F. Alcantara 35,
Flemington, was arrested for DWI while traveling on Rt. 22 west.
Alcantara was also charged with driving while suspended, failure to
exhibit documents, refusal to submit to breath samples, and DWI.

0900 hours unknown suspects removed seven necklaces valued at $ 1262.00 from
Village Silver located at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.
Vehicle Burglary – December 05, 2009 @ 1445 hours a resident of Ryan Way had her vehicle broken into while
it was parked at the
Bridgewater
Raritan High
School.
Unknown actors removed the victim’s purse from her vehicle.

@1630 hours Johanna A. Berrio 26, Manville, was arrested for shoplifting
$220.75 of merchandise from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.
Shoplifting Arrest – 12/07/09 @ 1719 hours Stephen Leonardis 41, Bridgewater, was arrested for shoplifting a
shower seat valued at $34.99 from Home Depot.
Shoplifting Arrest- 12/08/09 @ 1621 hours Nataly Valencia 22,
Middlesex, was arrested for shoplifting a jacket worth $119.00 from Macy’s.
DWI Arrest- 12/10/09
@0004 hours, Amy Wilcox 40, Bridgewater, was arrested
for DWI while traveling south on Rt. 202/206.
Wilcox was charged with DWI, Refusal to submit to breath samples,
failure to yield, failure to maintain a lane, failure to exhibit documents.

Residential Burglary- 12/12/09 @ 1710 hours, a resident of
Stech Drive was the victim of a burglary.
Unknown actors entered the victim’s residence by breaking the rear
sliding glass door. Once inside
they removed a flat screen TV and assorted jewelry.
