 Burglary/Theft – February 4, 2009 @ 0923 hours, a resident of East Main Street reported a burglary and theft from their Chevy Trailblazer.  A window was smashed on the vehicle and a GPS unit was stolen.

 Arrest Fugitive from Justice –February 4, 2009 @ 1957 hours, Christopher P. Smith, 25, Ringoes, NJ was arrested during a traffic stop for being a Fugitive from Justice.  Smith was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriffs Office after he failed to appear following his arrest for drunk driving.  Smith was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending an extradition hearing.

 Theft – February 5, 2009 @ 1921 hours, an employee of Abercrombie & Fitch reported the theft of 20 women’s shorts with a total value of $800.

 Drug Arrest – February 6, 2009 @ 1936 hours, Quanell Robinson, 18, Somerville, NJ was arrested for possession of under 50 Grams of marijuana at a residence on Sunny Slope Road.  During an investigation at the residence, Robinson was asked if he was in possession of any weapons.  Robinson responded to the police officer that he was not, but he did have a big bag of weed in his pocket.  Robinson was charged with Possession of CDS under 50 Grams and released. 

 DWI Arrest – February 7, 2009 @ 0117 hours, Angelo M. Rodriguez, 51, Somerville, NJ was arrested for DWI on East Main Street.  Rodriguez was charged with DWI and Failure to Maintain a Lane.

 Shoplifting / Theft by Deception – February 7, 2009 @ 1136 hours, Thomas Demaio, 54, Raritan, NJ was arrested for shoplifting and theft by deception at Costco.  A loss prevention officer observed Demaio place a package of vitamins in his jacket.  He also returned a kitchen faucet that he had removed from a display counter and did not pay for.  Demaio was charged with shoplifting and theft by deception and released.

 DWI Arrest – February 7, 2009 @ 2350 hours, Jorge H. Henao, 21, Somerville, NJ was arrested for DWI on Country Club Road following a motor vehicle crash.  Henao was charged with DWI and Failure to Stop. 

 Criminal Mischief – February 8, 2009 @ 0145 hours, a resident of Wapwallopen, PA reported criminal mischief to their vehicle while it was parked on Ardmaer Drive.  The victim told the reporting officer they observed a white male with dark hair, stocky build and dressed all in black near their 2001 Chevy pickup.  After the male ran off the victim discovered their truck had been scratched and a taillight was broken.

 Criminal Mischief – February 8, 2009 @ 0217 hours, a resident of Manville reported their 1999 Mercury SLS was damaged while parked at Houlihans.  The windshield was smashed and the hood was scratched.

 Shoplifting Arrest – February 8, 2009 @ 1229 hours, two juveniles from Bound Brook were arrested for shoplifting at Costco.  A loss prevention officer observed the juveniles concealing DVD’s under their jackets and leave the store.  The juveniles were released to a family member after arrest processing.

 Criminal Mischief – February 8, 2009 @ 1345 hours, a resident of Lindsley Road reported criminal mischief to their 1995 Acura Integra.  The investigation report indicated the suspect jumped on the hood of the Acura and smashed the windshield.

 Drug Arrest – February 9, 2009 @ 1835 hours, Yasmeen Evans, 27, Plainfield, NJ, was arrested for possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle crash investigation on Finderne Avenue.  The arresting officer reported he smelled the odor of burnt marijuana emanating from the interior of the vehicle occupied by Evans.  A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a bag of suspected marijuana.  Evans was charged with Possession of CDS under 50 Grams and released.

 DWI Arrest – February 9, 2009 @ 1835 hours, Candice Evans, 22, Plainfield, NJ was arrested for DWI on Finderne Avenue.  Evans was arrested during the course of a motor vehicle crash investigation.  Evans was charged with DWI and Careless Driving and released to a friend.

 Drug Arrests – February 9, 2009 @ 1951 hours, Nicole Vaughan, 18, Bound Brook, NJ and Luis Villa, 18, Middlesex, NJ were arrested for drug possession after they were found in White Rock Park after the park was closed.  During the course of the investigation into why the two were in the park after hours they were found to be in possession of marijuana and suspected ecstasy.  Vaughn was charged with Possession of CDS under 50 Grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Remaining in a County Park after hours.  Vaughan was charged with Possession of Imitation CDS (Vaughan claimed two tablets were ecstasy, but did not test positive for ecstasy), Possession of CDS under 50 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Vaughan and Villa were released without bail.

 Drug Arrest – February 10, 2009 @ 2133 hours, Vincenza Miele, 44, Bridgewater, NJ was arrested for possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 West.  Miele was stopped for speeding and during the stop she turned over three partially burnt marijuana cigarettes to the arresting officer after the officer told her he smelled burnt marijuana in the car.  Miele was charged with Possession of CDS under 50 Grams, Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle and Speeding.

 Theft- February 12, 2009 @ 1245 hours, a Greco paint sprayer was reported stolen from a house under construction on Henry Street.  The contractor reported the sprayer was valued at $3,800.

 Theft – February 12, 2009 @ 2024 hours, a resident of Lindsley Road reported their 2003 Honda motorcycle was stolen from their condominium complex.

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 13, 2009 @ 1421 hours, Myrian Cambria Gomez, 30, Bernardsville, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Bloomingdale’s.  Cambria Gomez was observed by a loss prevention officer placing $595 worth of women’s clothing in her purse.  A disorderly person complaint was files against Cambria Gomez by Bloomingdales security.  She was lodged in the Somerset County Jail as a result of a warrant being issued by immigration.

 Shoplifting Arrest – February 14, 2009 @ 1649 hours, Liana Jaghatashvilli, 46, Dunellen, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Bloomingdales.  A Bloomingdales security officer observed Jaghatashvilli place two dresses and a sweatshirt, valued over $280, in a bag and exit the store.  Jaghatashvilli was charged with shoplifting and released.

 Theft – February 14, 2009 @ 1826 hours, a resident of Blairstown, NJ reported their 2004 Subaru Impreza was stolen from the parking lot of Fuddruckers.

 Burglary/Theft – February 15, 2009 @ 0152 hours, a burglary was reported at Arjay Foods located on Route 28.  The burglary was discovered after officers responded to the business for a burglar alarm.  The suspect entered the business after breaking the glass on the front door.  The suspect left the business carrying the cash register that contained approximately $350.

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 16, 2009 @ 1513 hours, a Bridgewater juvenile was arrested for shoplifting at Essentials in the Bridgewater Commons Mall.  The juvenile was observed by a store employee concealing $17 worth of cosmetics in their purse.  The juvenile was charged with shoplifting and released to a family member.

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 17, 2009 @ 1307 hours, Elizabeth E. Morgan, 60, Flemington, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Macy’s.  A store detective watched Morgan as she exited the store wearing a $100 coat she had removed from a display rack.  Morgan was charged with shoplifting and released.

 New  Burglary/Theft – February 19, 2009 @ 1528 hours, a resident of Hightstown reported their 2002 Acura TL was burglarized while it was parked at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.  The vehicle was entered after a window was smashed and a GPS unit was stolen.

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 19, 2009 @ 1530 hours, Rosario Scalici, 39, Rockaway, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Costco.  A store security officer observed Scalici place a $100 Bluetooth in a cardboard box and exit the store without paying for the Bluetooth.  Scalici was charged with shoplifting and released.

 New  DWI Arrest – February 20, 2009 @ 0222 hours, Patricia Ann Williamson, 51, Hillsborough, NJ was arrested for DWI on Finderne Avenue.  Williamson was stopped after the arresting officer observed her throw a lit cigarette from her vehicle.  Williamson was charged with DWI, Refusal to Submit Breath Samples and Throwing Debris from a Vehicle.

 New  Burglary/Theft – February 20, 2009 @ 1832 hours, a resident of Williamson Court reported their home was burglarized.  The home was entered through a sliding glass door that was shattered by the actor.  The actor stole cash and electronic equipment from the home.

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 20, 2009 @ 2053 hours, Samar G. Zahalan, 25, Newark, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Macy’s.  A Macy’s security officer observed that Zahalan had placed a $50 sweatshirt in her purse and exited the store.  Zahalan was charged with shoplifting and released.

 New  Disorderly Conduct Arrest – February 21, 2009 @ 0314 hours, Dayna Rucker, 27, Millerton, NY was arrested for disorderly conduct on Manville Boulevard.  The arresting officer was assisting Rucker with an escort to a local hotel following a disturbance complaint on Manville Boulevard.  While Rucker was seated in the rear of the patrol car she began yelling, screaming and pounding her fists on the safety partition in the vehicle.  Rucker was placed under arrest and released after being charged with Disorderly Conduct.

 New  DWI Arrest – February 22, 2009 @ 0150 hours, Kelly A. Brock, 34, Whitehouse, NJ was arrested for DWI on Route 22 West.  Brock was stopped for failing to maintain a lane.  Brock was charged with DWI, Refusal to Submit Breath Samples, Driving While Suspended, Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle and Failure to Maintain a Lane.

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 22, 2009 @ 1330 hours, Monish Grover, 34, Bridgewater, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Costco.  A store security officer observed Grover place a $45 cordless mouse in his pocket.  Grover was charged with shoplifting and released.

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 22, 2009 @ 1716 hours, Patricia Acosta-Depinho, 44, Warren, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Costco.  Acosta-Depinho was charged with shoplifting a portable hard drive and Bluetooth car speaker kit valued at $180. 

 New  Theft – February 21, 2009 @ 1203 hours, an employee of Bath and Body Works reported the theft of $710 worth of display merchandise.  The employee reported that eye cream and skin serum were stolen.

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 21, 2009 @ 1505 hours, Paul M. Rocco, 54, Andover, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Home Depot.  A Home Depot Loss Prevention Officer observed Rocco place $170 worth of merchandise in his jacket as he attempted to exit the store.  During the investigation it was determined that Rocco had provided the arresting officer false information to avoid being arrested for two active warrants out of Morris County.  Rocco was charged with Shoplifting by Costco and Hindering Apprehension by the arresting officer.  He was placed in the Somerset County Jail in default of $1,000 bail set on the Hindering Apprehension charge.

 New  DWI Arrest – February 23, 2009 @ 0429 hours, Johnny G. Gonzalez Jimenez, 33, Damasus, MD was arrested for DWI on Pearl Street.  Gonzalez Jimenez was arrested after he was found asleep in his vehicle on the front yard of a Pearl Street residence.  He was charged with DWI and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples and released to a family member.

 New  Burglary/Theft – February 24, 2009 @ 1430 hours, an employee of the Raritan Valley Country Club reported a burglary and theft at the country club.  The actor pried open a door on the women’s locker room and stole two LG Plasma HD TV’s each valued over $3,400.

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 24, 2009 @ 1954 hours, Daniel M. Walter, 36, Somerville, NJ was arrested for shoplifting $231 worth of DVD’s and children’s clothing from Costco.  Walter was released without bail.

 New  DWI Arrest – February 26, 2009 @ 0137 hours, Attila Janaszik, 45, Hillsborough, NJ was arrested for DWI on Finderne Avenue.  Janaszik was charged with DWI and Speeding.  He was released to a family member.

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 27, 2009 @ 1913 hours, Brittany Tarantola, 18, Hillsborough, NJ and Chelsea Laverty, 19, Hillsborough, NJ were arrested for shoplifting at Macy’s.  Tarantola and Laverty were observed by a store security officer concealing clothing in their purses.  They were both charged with shoplifting and released.

 New  Drug/Alcohol Arrests – February 28, 2009 @ 0037 hours, Grace Quinn, 18, Dunellen, NJ, Eric Biggs, 19, Dunellen, NJ and Lyndsay Circelli, 19, Bangor, PA were arrested following the investigation of an underage drinking party at the Red Bull Inn. Quinn and Biggs were charged with Possession of Marijuana under 50 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Circelli was charged with Underage Possession of Alcohol.

 New  Theft – February 28, 2009 @ 1701 hours, an employee of Lucky Brand Specialty at the Bridgewater Commons Mall reported the theft of over $1,600 worth of shorts and tank tops. 

 New  Shoplifting Arrest – February 28, 2009 @ 1932 hours, Andrew N. Philephs, 19, Somerville, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Macy’s.  Philephs was observed by a security officer placing a $35 ring in his pocket and exit the store.  He was released after being charged with Shoplifting.
