DWI Arrest – November 1, 2008 @ 0046
hours, Shea L. Solliday, 37, Brick, NJ was arrested for DWI on Route 22 East.
Solliday was charged with DWI, Failure to Maintain a Lane and Cell Phone use
while driving.
DWI Arrest – November 1, 2008 @ 0330
hours, Gurdeep Singh, 30, Baltimore, MD was arrested for DWI on Route 22 East.
Singh was charged with DWI, Failure to Maintain a Lane and Failure to Wear a
Seatbelt. He was released into the custody of a relative after posting $2,000
for warrants issued out of the New Brunswick Municipal Court.
Theft – November 1, 2008 @ 1500
hours, an employee of Rosetta Stone reported that someone stole five Rosetta
Stone Language lesson sets from a kiosk located in the Bridgewater Commons
Mall. The language sets were values at $549 each.
Shoplifting Arrests – November 1,
2008 @ 1716 hours, Ashish Singh, 27, Rahway, NJ and Lalith Moorjani, 34,
Piscataway, NJ were arrested for shoplifting at Costco. Singh and Moorjani were
observed by store security concealing DVD’s and cigars, valued at $167, inside
their shirts and attempting to leave the store without paying.
Criminal Mischief – November 2, 2008
@ 0744 hours, a resident of Columbia Drive reported that three vehicles that
were parked on Columbia Drive had windows broken with BB’s.
Identity Theft – November 2, 2008 @
0926 hours, a resident of Somerset Avenue reported that someone used his
personal information to open an account with a cable company in the Bronx, NY.
DWI Arrest – November 4, 2008 @ 2140
hours, Jill Specht, 43, Somerville, NJ was arrested for DWI on Old York
Road. Specht was found in the parking lot of the Bradley Gardens Fire House
with two flat tires on her vehicle. Specht was charged with DWI, Refusal to
Submit Breath Samples and Careless Driving.
DWI Arrest – November 4, 2008 @ 2213
hours, Christopher J. Allena, 53, Bridgewater, NJ was arrested for DWI on Old
York Road. Allena was arrested in the parking lot of the Bradley Gardens Fire
Department after he came to assist Jill Specht change the tires on her
vehicle. Allena was charged with DWI and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples.
DWI Arrest – November 4, 2008 @ 2345 hours, Gloria
Standish, 45, Bridgewater, NJ was arrested for DWI at Police Headquarters.
Standish was summoned by, Jill Specht, to come and pick her up after
being arrested for DWI. Upon her arrival, it was determined that Standish was
also under the influence of alcohol and arrested. Standish was charged with DWI
and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples.
Drug Arrest – November 5, 2008 @
1305 hours, Sean Scullin, 26, Neshanic Station, NJ was arrested for drug
possession during a traffic stop on Route 22 East. Scullin was stopped after
the arresting officer observed him banging a marijuana pipe and lighter together
through the sunroof in order to clear the pipe of residue. Scullin was charged
with Possession of Marijuana under 50 Grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
and Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle.
Theft/Criminal Mischief – November
5, 2008 @ 2020 hours an employee of Macy’s reported the theft of three Tag Heuer
watches. The employee told the investigating officer that two black males
described as 18 years of age 5’7” and 160 lbs. entered the jewelry department
and smashed a display case with a hammer. A third black male described as 20
years old, 6’2” and 180 lbs reached into the display case and took three Tag
Heuer watches. The value of the watches was unknown at the time of the report.
DWI/Possession of Weapon – November
5, 2008 @ 2250 hours, Jason J. Gregor, 23, Bound Brook, NJ was arrested for DWI
on Milltown Road. While being arrested Gregor was found in possession of a
switchblade knife. Gregor was charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
(fourth degree), DWI, Failure to Maintain a Lane and Failure to Maintain Lamps.
Theft – November 6, 2008 @ 1447
hours, an employee of Abercrombie and Fitch reported the theft of $2,400 in
shirts from a display table.
Shoplifting Arrest – November 7,
2008 @ 2042 hours, Alicia L. Dunchie, 29, Vernon, NY and Melissa A. Pearson, 29,
Bronx, NY were arrested for shoplifting $764 worth of clothing from Annie Sez at
the Somerset Shopping Center. Dunchie and Pearson were both charged with Third
Degree Shoplifting and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
DWI Arrest – November 9, 2008 @ 0153
hours, Shenetta T. Caver, 35, Hillsborough, NJ was arrested for DWI at the
Bridgewater Promenade. Caver was charged with DWI, Refusal to Submit Breath
Samples and Improper Turn.
Drug Arrest – November 12, 2008 @
1731 hours, Jacob J. Loizou, 20, Whitehouse Station, NJ was arrested for drug
possession while in his vehicle at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. While at the
mall, an officer on foot patrol walked past Loizou who was seated in his
vehicle. The officer detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the
interior of his vehicle. A search of Loizou’s vehicle revealed a marijuana
filled cigar and a plastic bag containing marijuana. Loizou was released after
being charged with Possession of Marijuana under 50 Grams, Possession of Drug
Paraphernalia and Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle.
DWI Arrest – November 13, 2008 @
0014 hours, David J. Doremus, 46, Bridgewater, NJ was arrested for DWI in the
parking lot of the Days Inn on Route 22 East. Doremus was charged with DWI and
Refusal to Submit Breath Samples.
DWI Arrest – November 14, 2008 @
0754 hours, Patricia A. McGinley, 35, Hoboken, NJ was arrested for DWI on
Finderne Avenue. McGinley was charged with DWI and Passing a Stopped School
Bus.
Bad Checks Arrest – November 14,
2008 @ 1356 hours, Cynthia L. Hobbs, 44, Absecon, NJ and Ashley E. Imes, 19,
Absecon, NJ were both arrested and charged with a single count each of issuing
bad checks to Costco. Hobbs and Imes issued checks for membership to Costco on
closed or non-existing bank accounts. Hobbs was lodged in the Somerset County
Jail after an active warrant for her arrest was located from the Bridgewater
Municipal Court. Imes was released pending court.
Criminal Mischief – November 14,
2008 @ 1415 hours, a resident of Greenbrook reported criminal mischief to his
2006 Saturn while it was parked at Washington Valley Park on Miller Lane. The
victim reported his vehicles front windshield and rear window were shattered
while it was parked in the parking lot for the park.
DWI Arrest – November 15, 2008 @
0214 hours, Edson O. Munoz-Isla, 26, Manville, NJ was arrested for DWI on
Finderne Avenue. Munoz-Isla was charged with DWI, Driving While Suspended and
Speeding.
Hindering Apprehension Arrest –
November 16, 2008 @ 0032 hours, Joy Conaway, 41, Bridgewater, NJ was arrested
for Hindering Apprehension on Stanford Drive. While on Stanford Drive an
officer on patrol was speaking with Conaway when she provided the name of
another person to the officer. When the officer learned her true identity, an
active warrant was located for Conaway out of the Middlesex Borough Municipal
Court. Conaway was arrested for the warrant and hindering apprehension.
Conaway was released after posting bail for the warrant and the hindering
apprehension charge.
DWI Arrest – November 16, 2008 @
0112 hours, Mark R. Nipps, 40, Manville, NJ was arrested for DWI on Finderne
Avenue. Nipps was charged with DWI and Failure to Observe a Traffic Signal.
Burglary/Theft – November 17, 2008 @
1851 hours, a resident of Garretson Road reported a burglary to their home.
When the initial report was taken it was not determined how entry was made to
the home. Jewelry was reported stolen from the home.
DWI Arrest – November 18, 2008 @
1145 hours, Donna J. Bertram, 52, Stewartsville, NJ was arrested for DWI on
Route 22 West. Bertram was charged with DWI and having an Open Container of
Alcohol in her vehicle.
Burglary/Theft – November 18, 2008 @
1306 hours, a resident of Cambridge Lane reported a burglary to their home.
Entry was gained to the home by forcing open a door. Jewelry was reported
stolen from the home.
Shoplifting Arrest – November 19,
2008 @ 1704 hours, a juvenile resident of Summit was arrested for shoplifting
two pair of pants valued at $144 from Bloomingdale’s.
Shoplifting Arrest – November 19,
2008 @ 1704 hours, Jessica Skinner, 18, New Providence, NJ was arrested for
shoplifting a pair of pants valued at $72 from Bloomingdale’s.
Burglary/Theft – November 20, 2008 @
1501 hours, a resident of South Bound Brook reported a burglary and theft from
their 2000 Chevy S10 while it was parked at the Home Depot on Promenade
Boulevard. The suspect entered the vehicle by punching out a door lock. The
vehicles floor mats and change were reported stolen from the vehicle.
Theft – November 20, 2008 @ 1617
hours, a resident of North Plainfield reported the theft of their wallet while
shopping at Costco. The victim told police that someone removed their wallet
from their purse while they were in the store shopping.
Burglary/Theft – November 21, 2008 @
1224 hours, a resident of Washington Valley Road reported a burglary to their
home. Entry was gained to the home by forcing open a door. Jewelry was
reported stolen from the home.
Theft – November 21, 2008 @ 1500
hours, a resident of Manville reported their 2002 Dodge Caravan was stolen from
the parking lot of Target.
Shoplifting Arrest – November 21,
2008 @ 1720 hours, a juvenile resident of Hillsborough was arrested for
shoplifting a pair of pants valued at $72 from Bloomingdale’s.
Theft – November 21, 2008 @ 1833
hours, a resident of Whitehouse Station reported the theft of their purse. The
purse was reportedly left in a shopping cart outside of Costco and the victim
drove home. When the victim returned to Costco they could not locate their
purse.
Burglary/Theft – November 21, 2008 @
2114 hours, a resident of Bound Brook reported a burglary and theft to their
2002 Chevy Express while it was parked at the Somerset County Vo-Tech. The
suspect entered the vehicle by breaking a window. A navigation unit was stolen
from the vehicle.
Shoplifting Arrest – November 21,
2008 @ 2111 hours, a juvenile from South Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting
a scarf and two bracelets valued at $182 from Bloomingdale’s.

0024 hours, Rodney J. Milazzo, 63, Shallotte, NC was arrested for DWI on
Woodlawn Avenue. Milazzo was charged with DWI and Failure to Maintain a Lane.

2008 @ 1744 hours, Jose L. Vasquez, 62, Somerville, NJ was arrested for DWI
following a motor vehicle crash on Route 22 West. Vasquez was charged with DWI,
Reckless Driving, Unsafe Lane Change and Failure to Wear a Seatbelt.
Burglary/Theft – November 24,
2008 @ 1403 hours, a resident of Stony Brook Drive reported a burglary and theft
to their residence. The actor gained entry in the home by smashing a rear
window. Jewelry was reported stolen from the home.

2008 @ 1919 hours, a resident of Somerset, NJ reported a burglary and theft from
their vehicle while it was parked at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. The victim
told police their unlocked vehicle was entered and a navigation unit was stolen.
DWI Arrest – November 25,
2008 @ 2141 hours, Paul R. Mazar, 41, Raritan, NJ was arrested for DWI on Route
202 South. Mazar was charged with DWI, Failure to Yield and Failure to Maintain
a Lane.
DWI Arrest – November 25,
2008 @ 2246 hours, Tushar Patel, 36, Bridgewater, NJ was arrested for DWI on
Route 202/206 North. Patel was charged with DWI and released.
DWI Arrest – November 26,
2008 @ 0155 hours, Christopher L. Cap, 25, Raritan, NJ was arrested for DWI on
Route 22 East. Cap was charged with DWI and Driving without Headlights.
Shoplifting Arrest – November
26, 2008 @ 1627 hours, Rebecca Lynn Bailey, 25, New Hope, PA was arrested for
shoplifting at Bloomingdale’s. A Loss Prevention Officer told the investigating
officer they observed Bailey rip security sensors off two blouses, valued at
$168, and place the items in her purse. The blouses were damaged as a result of
the sensors being removed. Bailey was charged with shoplifting and criminal
mischief.

2105 hours, John Tomassetti, 52, Greenbrook, NJ was arrested for DWI on Route 22
East. Tomassetti was charged with DWI, Refusal to Submit Breath Samples,
Failure to Maintain a Lane and Cell Phone Use While Driving.
DWI Arrest – November 27,
2008 @ 0223 hours, Jacquelin S. Fontaine, 22, Bridgewater, NJ was arrested for
DWI on Finderne Avenue. Fontaine was charged with DWI and Speeding.

0241 hours, Calvin E. Waller Jr, 33, Fanwood, NJ was arrested for DWI on Route
22 East. Waller was charged with DWI and Failure to Maintain a Lane.

Shoplifting Arrest – November 28,
2008 @ 1033 hours, two juvenile were arrested for shoplifting. A Bloomingdale’s
security officer observed the two juveniles place a $68 t-shirt in a shopping
bag.
Shoplifting Arrest – November
28, 2008 @ 1505 hours, Michal Dziekan, 28, Newark, NJ and Michal Zollner, 36,
Manville, NJ were arrested for shoplifting at Costco. Dziekan and Zollner were
observed by store security cutting the packages off two cameras with a small
knife. Dziekan and Zollner were charged with shoplifting and possession of
shoplifting tools.
Shoplifting Arrest – November
29, 2008 @ 1820 hours, Terina A. Prince, 26, North Plainfield, NJ was arrested
for shoplifting at Macy’s. Prince concealed two pairs of tights and a scarf,
valued at $72, in a bag. She was charged with shoplifting and released.
Burglary – November 29, 2008
@ 1940 hours, a resident of Hillcrest Road reported a burglary to their home.
The investigating officer reported that entry was made by the suspect through a
window. At the time if the report the victim reported that nothing appeared to
be missing.
DWI Arrest – November 30,
2008 @ 0227 hours, Meghan O. Lux, 21, Warren, NJ was arrested for DWI on
Finderne Avenue. Lux was charged with DWI, Maintenance of Lamps, No Insurance
and Failure to Produce Credentials.

0237 hours, Leonard J. Caro, 22, Martinsville, NJ was arrested for DWI on
Purcell Road. Caro was charged with DWI, (2) counts of Speeding and (2) counts
of Failure to Stop.

2008 @ 1649 hours, Amanda L. Byrne, 18, Bridgewater, NJ and Ashley K. Moran, 18,
Bridgewater, NJ were arrested for shoplifting. A security officer from Macy’s
observed Byrne and Moran place two belts and a scarf in their handbags. The
merchandise was valued at $170.
