The Bridgewater Police Department and the Bridgewater Office of Emergency Management are monitoring the weather forcast Friday afternoon into Saturday.
✓ A storm system will bring widespread precipitation to the region Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. Precip begins from west to east as snow Friday afternoon. Gradually, a change from snow to rain will occur in most of Delmarva and southern NJ during the evening and overnight of Friday. For portions of eastern
PA south of I-78 and NW of I-95 and south/east of the NJTP corridor, a transition to sleet and then freezing rain will occur during that same timeframe.
✓ Confidence in snowfall amounts is moderate. The highest totals of 5-8” of snowfall is forecast for areas near/north of I-80 in eastern PA and NJ. South of I-80, mixed precipitation in eastern PA and NJ will cutdown on the snow totals with 3-5” in these areas. Sleet is included in that 3-5”. For southern NJ into Delmarva,
a coating up to an inch is as mixed precipitation and rain leads to lower totals.
✓ Ice accumulation of up to 0.10” is forecast for areas near/west of the I-95 corridor and near/south of I-78 in Pennsylvania.

NO PARKING ON EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES

Pursuant to the provisions of §§ 206-21 and 206-27.1, wherever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the street or highway, no person shall park a vehicle upon either side of any of the streets or parts thereof listed below, and no person shall cause, permit, allow or suffer any vehicle owned by or driven by him to become stalled or immobile on any of the streets or parts thereof listed below because of failure of said vehicle to be equipped with snow tires or chains in good working order.
