The Bridgewater Police Department and the Bridgewater Office of Emergency Management are monitoring the weather forcast Saturday afternoon into Sunday.
✓ A period of snow is expected tonight into Sunday morning. This will likely start as some light rain or a rain/snow mix near and southeast of I-95 before changing to all snow. Snowfall intensity may increase for a time early Sunday morning.
✓ 1-5 inches of snow across the entire region, with a zone of 5+ inches possible. While the location of any 5+ inch amounts is less certain, the greatest chance for this is across the I-95 corridor and immediately to the southeast in southern NJ and northern Delmarva. Snowfall rates near 1” per hour are possible within this zone of higher totals.
✓ Increasing west to northwest winds Sunday into Monday can result in areas of blowing snow which may result in roads becoming snow-covered again and reduced visibility at times.
✓ Bitterly cold conditions arrive Sunday and continue through Tuesday. Wind chills well into the single digits to near zero Sunday night into Monday morning, and below zero values in the Poconos.
✓ Wind gusts to 35-40 knots probable on Delaware Bay and the NJ and DE Atlantic coastal waters along with hazardous seas. Areas of freezing spray possible Sunday night and Monday.

Pursuant to the provisions of §§ 206-21 and 206-27.1, wherever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the street or highway, no person shall park a vehicle upon either side of any of the streets or parts thereof listed below, and no person shall cause, permit, allow or suffer any vehicle owned by or driven by him to become stalled or immobile on any of the streets or parts thereof listed below because of failure of said vehicle to be equipped with snow tires or chains in good working order.
