March 2024

 

On 03/01/24 at approximately 11:28 AM, a victim reported the spare tire was taken from his 2024 Jeep Wrangler which was parked in the parking lot of 100 Somerset Corporate Blvd.  The victim advised he parked his vehicle in the parking lot on 01/27/24 and when he returned on 03/01/24 the spare exterior tire was missing.    

 

On 03/03/24 at approximately 3:43 PM, officers were dispatched to Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd. to investigate an incident of shoplifting where the suspect fled the scene.  Officers were able to locate and identify, Louis Padilla (45) of Edison, NJ as the suspect who stole store merchandise valued at $109.00.  Padilla was issued a summons for shoplifting with a pending court appearance.

 

On 03/03/24 at approximately 6:05 PM, officers investigated a report of Criminal Mischief in the parking lot of Bloomingdales located in the Bridgewater Commons Mall.  The victim advised, he parked his 2018 Toyota Camry in the parking lot of Bloomingdales at approximately 4:40 PM and when he returned he observed fresh damage (scratch marks) consistent with being “keyed.”  

 

On 03/05/24 at approximately 11:23 PM, officers responded to the area of Chimney Rock Road and US 22 East (local ramp) for a motor-vehicle crash involving a 2017 Acura RDX and a 2017 Ford Escape.  The investigation determined the operator; Josephine Mangean (67) of Bridgewater, NJ was operating the 2017 Acura RDX and was intoxicated.  Mangean was arrested at the scene for DWI and issued the following summons:   Driving while Intoxicated and Careless Driving.  Mangean was released with a pending court appearance.    

 

On 03/08/24 at approximately 4:17 PM, officers responded to Adamsville School for a report of an intoxicated subject.  Joseph Burger III (43) of Frenchtown, NJ was arrested at the scene for DWI and issued the following summonses:  Driving while Intoxicated, Driving while Intoxicated in a School Zone, and Open Container in a Motor-Vehicle.   Burger was released with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 03/09/24 at approximately 4:59 PM, Katerine Cali-Lopez (19) and Viviana Nicole Naranjo-Quinpuiguano (24) both of Plainfield, NJ, were arrested for shoplifting at Macy’s Department Store, located at 400 Commons Way.  Cali-Lopez and Quinpuiguano stole store merchandise valued at $386.00.  Both Cali-Lopez and Naranjo-Quinpuiguano charged with Shoplifting and Hindering Apprehension and transported to the Somerset County Jail. 

 

On 03/15/24 at approximately 3:16 PM, officers were called to Target for an incident of shoplifting where the suspect fled the scene.  The investigation determined the actor to be York Drinks (52) of Piscataway, NJ.  Drinks stole store merchandise valued at $499.00.  Drinks was charged with Shoplifting, issued a summons with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 03/15/24 at approximately 7:55 PM, Angela Kelly (57) of Bridgewater, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Blvd.  Kelly stole store merchandise valued at $199.00. Kelly was charged with Shoplifting, issued a summons and released with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 03/16/24 at approximately 6:19 PM, Ramond Dabney (27) of Brooklyn NY and Shanaira Cruz (19) of Middlesex, NJ were stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Blvd.  Dabney and Cruz stole store merchandise valued at $422.00.  Both Dabney and Cruz were charged with Shoplifting, issued summonses with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 03/17/24 at approximately 12:49 AM, a 2017 Jeep SUV, operated by Jose Vargas (36) of Middlesex, NJ was stopped on US 22 East after an officer observed several motor-vehicle violations.  Vargas was subsequently arrested for DWI and issued the following summonses: Driving While Intoxicated, Careless Driving, Following too Closely, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Reckless Driving.  Vargas was released with a pending court appearance.  

 

On 03/18/24 at approximately 3:22 PM, officers were dispatched to Target for a report of shoplifting where the actor(s) fled the scene.  The investigating officer was able to identify Carrie Falcone (47) of Bridgewater, NJ as the actor.  Falcone stole store merchandise valued at $109.69.  Falcone was charged with Shoplifting and issued a summons with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 03/22/24 at approximately 1:39 AM a 2018 Subaru Outback, operated by John Lawler (32) of Three Bridges, NJ was stopped on US 22 West after an officer observed several motor-vehicle violations.  Lawler was subsequently arrested for DWI and issued the following summonses: Driving While Intoxicated, Careless Driving, and Reckless Driving.  Lawler was released with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 03/23/24 at approximately 4:01 PM, Chrystalynn Simon (34) of Somerville, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Blvd.  Simon stole store merchandise valued at $1,111.03.  Simon was charged with Shoplifting and issued a summons with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 03/24/24 at approximately 6:50 AM, officers were dispatched to the area of Vosseller Avenue and Van Pelt Court for a report of a single car, motor-vehicle crash involving a 2020 Acura TLX.  The driver, Endy Grandados-Bustos (21) of Warren, NJ, was transported to Robert Wood Johnson (New Brunswick) for injuries sustained as a result of the crash.  The investigation revealed that Bustos was traveling north on Vosseller Avenue when he ran off the roadway to the right and struck a fire hydrant, overturned, struck a concrete mailbox post and come to reset in in the southbound lane of Vosseller Avenue.  Bustos was subsequently arrested for Driving while Intoxicated and issued the summonses: DWI, Improper Passing, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, and Unsafe Lane Change.  Bustos was released from police custody, at the hospital, with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 03/24/24 at approximately 10:40 PM, a 2011 Toyota RAV 4, operated by Kylie Lawson (22) of Raritan, NJ was stopped on Adamsville Road after the officer observed several motor-vehicle violations.  Lawson was subsequently arrested for DWI and issued the following summonses: Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Failing to Maintain Lane, and Unsafe Lane Change.  Lawson was released with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 03/26/24 at approximately 6:31 PM, Maureen Fernandez (47) of Piscataway, NJ was stopped for shoplifting and attempting to make fraudulent returns at Target located at 200 Promenade Blvd.  Fernandez stole store merchandise valued at $252.95.  Fernandez was charged with Shoplifting, Theft by Deception and issued a summons with a pending court appearance.

 

On 03/29/24 at approximately 3:37 PM, officers were dispatched to Target for a report of a shoplifting where the actor(s) fled the scene.  The investigating officer was able to identify Debbie James (66) of Newark, NJ as the actor.  James stole store merchandise valued at $677.00.  James was charged with Shoplifting and issued a summons with a pending court appearance.

February 2024

 

On 02/03/24 at approximately 10:39 AM a victim reported that his personal belongings were stolen from his locker at Lifetime Fitness located at 145 Commons Way.  The victim reported approximately his wallet containing credit cards and us currency along with various other items totaling $270.00 were taken from his unsecured locker while left unattended.    

 

On 02/05/24 a resident from Lindsley Road reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2007 Volkswagen Beetle, sometime during the overnight hours on 01/03/24.  The vehicle was parked in the residential parking lot of Lindsley Road.

On 02/08/24 at approximately 9:11 PM, in the area of Foothill Rd. and Finderne Ave. officers stopped a 2007 Toyota Corolla operated by Jessica E. Bojko (37) of Manville, NJ for failure to maintain lane.  Bojko was arrested on the scene for DWI and issued the following summonses:  Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Maintain Lane, Careless Driving, and Open Container of Alcohol Inside a Motor Vehicle.  Bojko was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 02/10/24 at approximately 7:48 PM, Jacqueline Barahona (37) of Somerville, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  Barahona stole store merchandise valued at $245.96.  A complaint summons was issued and she was released with a pending court appearance.

02/27/24 at approximately 1:09 PM, Officers responded to Champs (located at 400 Commons Way) to investigate a report of shoplifting after the actor fled the scene. An investigation of the incident determined, Moloy Graham (32) of Mount Vernon, NY stole store merchandise valued at $250.00. Graham was issued a summons for Shoplifting with a pending court appearance.

January 2024

 

On 1/01/24 at approximately 3:00 AM, Carlos J. Sedeno (30) of Keansburg, NJ was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on US 22 west. Sedeno was issued the following summonses: DWI, DWI with Juvenile in the Vehicle, Refusal to Submit to Breath Testing, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, and Failure to Signal for Turn. Sedeno was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 01/01/24 at approximately 3:48 AM, Officers responded to the intersection of Finderne Ave and 2nd street for a report of an overturned vehicle. Officers located a 2002 Nissan Sentra operated by Maria R. Marinhull (age 29) from Bound Brook, New Jersey who was traveling south on Finderne Ave. when the vehicle crossed over the double yellow (center) lines, rolled over several times and came to rest on the south east corner of the intersection. There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash. Maria R. Marinhull was arrest on scene for driving while intoxicated and subsequently issued summons for Reckless Driving, Careless Driving and Driving While Intoxicated. Marinhull was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 01/01/24 at approximately 4:30 PM, Juan Vallejo-Ramirez (28) of Piscataway, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Vallejo-Ramirez stole store merchandise valued at $1153.83. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

On 01/02/24 at approximately 1:21 PM, Luis A. Zuritaguania (41) of North Plainfield, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Costco, located at 325 Promenade Boulevard.  Zuritaguanin stole store merchandise valued at $81.95.  A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.  

 

On 01/02/24 at approximately 11:52 PM, in the area of Finderen Ave and Sunny Slope Road, officers stopped a 2022 Volkswagen Jetta operated by Rodirgo Fernandes (43) of Bridgewater NJ for failure to maintain lane.  Fernandes was arrested on the scene for DWI and issued the following summonses:  Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to Breath Testing, Careless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane

 

On 01/03/24 at approximately 12:21 PM a dog training table, valued at $160.00, was stolen from the parking lot of the Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital located at 830 Rt. 202/206.  Claire Comes (25) of Randolph, NJ was arrested after an investigation was conducted.  Comes was charged with Theft and was released with a pending a court date. 

 

On 01/03/24 at approximately 4:59 PM, officers responded to the CVS located at 230 Milltown Road for a hit and run crash.  The victim advised a pickup truck stuck their vehicle while traveling in the intersection of Rt. 202 and Milltown Road.  The striking vehicle was located in the parking lot of Branchburg Funeral Home located at 910 Rt. 202 Branchburg, NJ.  There officers located a 2012 Ford F-250, operated by Christopher J. Frost (55) of Branchburgh, NJ.  Frost was arrested for DWI and issued the following summonses:  Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Careless Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Failure to Report an Accident.  Frost was released with a pending court appearance.

 

01/07/24 at approximately 12:34 AM, officer responded to the area of 1226 Washington Valley Road for a wrong way driver.  Officers located a 2013 Acura MDX operated by Andres Alonso Valenciano-Rojas (39) of Piscataway, NJ stopped facing west in the east bound lane.  Valenciano-Rojas was arrested for DWI and issued the following summonses: Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Open Container in a Motor Vehicle and Improper Parking.  Valenciano-Rojas was released with a pending court appearance. 

 

 

On 01/12/24 at approximately 1:37 AM, Joseph Dinkelacker (30) of Edison, NJ was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on US 22 west.  Dinkelacker was issued the following summonses: Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Maintain Lane, Reckless Driving, and Careless Driving.  Dinkelacker was released with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 01/12/24 at approximately 1:36 PM, Kimberly A. Smith (28) of Somerville, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  Smith stole store merchandise valued at $108.12.  A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance. 

 

On 01/13/24 at approximately 9:30 PM, Officers responded to the area of 649 East Main Street for a single vehicle crash.  Officers located and arrested the operator, Albert K Salmorin Jr. (37) of Bridgewater, NJ.  Salmorin Jr. was issued summonses for Driving While Intoxicated, Careless Driving and Refusing to Submit to Breath Testing.  Salmorin Jr. was released with a pending court appearance.    

 

On 01/14/24 a resident from Williamson Court reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, sometime during the overnight hours.  The vehicle was parked in the residential parking lot of Williamson Court. 

 

On 01/14/24 a resident of Dilts Lane reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2007 Toyota Prius, sometime during the overnight hours.  The vehicle was parked in the residential parking lot of Dilts Lane. 

 

On 0/14/24 a resident of Riddle Court reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2008 Toyota Prius, sometime during the overnight hours.  The vehicle was parked in the residential parking lot of Riddle Court.

 

01/15/24 at approximately 4:38 PM, William Whitlock (59) of Newark, NJ was arrested for shoplifting and providing false information to the police.  Whitlock stole $840.00 of store merchandise.  Whitlock was charged with Shoplifting and Hindering with a pending court appearance.  Whitlock was transported to Somerset County Jail on an outstanding warrant out of Essex County.

 

On 01/15/24 a resident of Marcia Way reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2006 Honda Accord, sometime during the overnight hours.  The vehicle was parked in the residential parking lot of Marcia Way.

 

On 01/15/24 a resident of Chestnut Street reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2008 Volkswagen Beetle, sometime during the overnight hours. 

 

On 01/16/24 a resident from Marsillo Court reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2007 Honda Accord, sometime during the overnight hours.  The vehicle was parked in the residential parking lot of Marsillo Court. 

 

01/18/24 a 2011 Toyota Prius and a 2005 Toyota Prius owned by Somerset County 4H had its catalytic converter stolen.  The vehicles were parked in a parking lot of Milltown Road.

 

On 01/19/24 at approximately 8:31 PM, officers responded to Sunnyside Terrace for an unwanted person.  Purvani Patel (39) of Bridgewater, NJ was arrested for Hindering and Resisting Arrest.  Patel was released with a pending court appearance. 

 

01/21/24 at approximately 2:04 AM a victim of Warren Ave. reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked in their driveway. The victim advised an unknown actor(s) entered their unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the glove box.

 

On 01/20/24 at approximately 7:49 PM, Omaru Massaquoi (52) of North Brunswick, NJ was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle crash investigation at the intersection of Finderne Avenue and East Main Street.  Massaquoi was issued the following summonses: Driving While Intoxicated, Careless Driving, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Yield the Right of Way at an Intersection.  Massaquoi was released with a pending court appearance.

On 01/26/24 at approximately 10:48 PM, officers responded to CareOne located at 1621 US Highway 22 west, for a report of a single vehicle crash into a ditch. Officers located an unoccupied 2006 Nissan Murano and subsequently located the operator, Juis A. Larios (35) of North Bergen, NJ a short distance away.  Larios was arrested for Hindering and DWI and issued the following summonses:   Careless Driving, Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Breath Testing, Refusal to Consent to taking samples of Breath, Leaving the scene of an Accident, and Hindering.  Larios was released with a pending court appearance.    

                                    

On 01/29/24 at approximately 5:07 PM, Karina C. Rosario (33) of Bound Brook, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  Rosario stole store merchandise valued at $259.69.   A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

 

December 2023

On 12/01/23 at approximately 4:39 PM, Si’Mya Whitehead (age 19) of Montclair, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Sephora, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard.  Whitehead stole store merchandise valued at $295.  A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 12/02/23 at approximately 1:50 AM, Aaron Saavedra-Cerdas (age 27) of Manville, NJ was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on East Main Street near the intersection of Promenade Boulevard.  Saavedra-Cerdas was uninjured in the crash.  He was issued the following summonses: DWI, Refusal to Consent to Breath Testing and Failure to Exhibit Documents.  He was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 12/04/23 at approximately 6:43 PM, Sheron Savage (age 38) of Brooklyn, NY was stopped for shoplifting at Sephora, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard.  Savage stole store merchandise valued at $1,160.  A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 12/08/23 at approximately 8:30 PM, Michael Fuentes-Mora (age 29) of Somerville, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  Fuentes stole store merchandise valued at $669.18.  A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 12/9/23 at approximately 7:30 PM, Juan Sergovia-Samanamu (age 28) of Somerville, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  Sergovia stole store merchandise valued at $811.92.  A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 12/10/23 at approximately 6:45 PM, Rebeca Cabrera-Sanchezdes (age 34) of Bound Brook, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  Cabrera stole store merchandise valued at $427.40.  A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On 12/15/23 at approximately 12:29 PM, a victim reported an attempted theft of her wallet at Costco, located at 325 Promenade Boulevard. The victim advised an unknown male reached into her unzipped/unattended purse, located in her shopping cart, and removed her wallet. The victim confronted the suspect and he returned the wallet to her before fleeing the scene.

 

On 12/25/23 at approximately 10:00 AM, a victim reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked on Stech Drive. The victim reported that an unknown actor(s) entered their unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the center console and glove compartment. On 12/25/23 at approximately 10:51 AM, a victim reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked on Strull Court. The victim reported that an unknown actor(s) entered their unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the center console and glove compartment.

 

On 12/28/23 at approximately 12:26 AM, Officers responded to the area of US 22 west and Grove Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Rachel A. Bencivenga (24) of Raritan, NJ was arrested for DWI and issued the following summonses: DWI and Careless Driving. Bencivenga was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 12/29/23 at approximately 9:54 PM, Margaret M. Ogden (43) of Whitehouse Station, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Ogden stole store merchandise valued at $319.98. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 12/31/23 at approximately 2:09 PM, Dennis Carrasco-Lopez was stopped for shoplifting at Macy’s, located at 400 Commons Way. Carrasco-Lopez stole store merchandise valued at $242.73. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

November 2023

 

On 11/07/23 at approximately 3:44 AM, a victim from Second Street reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked their driveway.  The victim reported that the suspect stole Apple AirPods, a charger and approximately $50 in cash from inside the vehicle.  The victim believed their vehicle had been left unlocked at the time of the incident.

 

On 11/07/23 at approximately 3:44 AM, a second victim from Second Street reported their vehicle had also been burglarized while parked their driveway.  The victim reported that the suspect stole a cellular charger and approximately $3 in cash from inside the vehicle.  The victim believed their vehicle had been left unlocked at the time of the incident.

 

On 11/09/23 at approximately 1224 PM, a Bridgewater resident advised they were exercising in the area of Sunset Lake.  The victim left a blue Matracz backpack on the side of North Shore Drive and began to run around the lake.  Upon arriving back to the area where the backpack was left, the victim found that it was missing.

On 11/8/23 at approximately 8:56 PM, William Shopland 3rd (age 28) of Bedminster, NJ was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Newmans Lane near Kale Drive.  He was issued the following summonses: DWI, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Refusal to Submit to Breath Tests and Failure to Maintain Lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 11/12/23 at approximately 2:10 AM, Nicholas Marini (age 28) of High Bridge, NJ was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on US 22 west.  Marini was issued the following summonses: DWI, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Refusal to Submit to Breath Tests and Failure to Maintain Lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 11/15/23 a resident from Dartmouth Avenue reported an Amazon package was stolen from their front porch.  The Police Department is still investigating this incident.

 

On 11/16/23 at approximately 1:27 PM, Andy Chen (age 33) of East Brunswick, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  Chen stole store merchandise valued at $164.98.  A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 11/19/23 at approximately 12:53 AM, Aaron Freeman (age 28) of Piscataway, NJ was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on US 22 east.  Freeman was issued the following summonses: DWI, Failure to Maintain Lamps, Careless Driving, Driving with a Suspended License and Failure to Maintain Lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 11/19/23 at approximately 3:45 PM, a victim reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the AC Hotel located at 600 Somerset Corporate Boulevard.  The victim reported the window of their vehicle had been broken and a purse was removed from the vehicle’s interior.

 

On 11/25/23 at approximately 11:34 PM, Jaudicia Roman (age 46) of Neshanic, NJ was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop NJ28.  Roman was issued the following summonses: DWI, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, and Failure to Maintain Lane. She was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 11/25/23 at approximately 9:09 PM, Michael Coppola Jr. (age 51) of Bound Brook, NJ was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on US 22 east.  Coppola was issued the following summonses: DWI, Careless Driving and Failure to Maintain Lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 11/26/23 at approximately 5:32 AM, Stephen Schwaeble (age 43) of Delran, NJ was arrested for DWI after he was found behind the steering wheel of his running vehicle in a parking lot on Van Veghten Drive.  Schwaeble was issued a summons for DWI. He was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 11/28/23 at approximately 11:42 AM, a victim reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked in a parking lot on Sunny Slope Road.  The victim reported that an unknown actor(s) enter their unlocked vehicle and removed a box of woman’s shoes and various pieces of mail.

 

On 11/28/23 at approximately 7:30 PM, Emily Joseph (age 18) of Bridgewater, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  Joseph stole store merchandise valued at $256.80.  A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

 

October 2023

On 10/02/23 a resident from Cabot Hill Road reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2003 Acura TL.  The vehicle had been parked in the roadway directly in front of the residence.

 

On 10/07/23 at approximately 12:08 AM, Kevin Thomson (age 59) of East Brunswick, NJ was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on US 22 east by Vosseller Avenue.  He was issued the following summonses: DWI, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving and Failure to Obey a Traffic Signal. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 07/03/23 a resident from Steele Gap Road reported their 2023 Black Land Rover was stolen from the driveway of their residence.  The key fob for the vehicle had been left inside at the time of the theft.

 

On 7/4/23 at approximately 12:45 AM, Jose Luis Santiago (age 46) of Middlesex, NJ was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 east.  He was issued the following summonses: DWI, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Maintain Lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

 

On 07/05/23 at approximately 11:47 PM, Charles Puccinelli (age 19) of Boston, MA and Finn Michael Westby Caspersen (age 23) of Bedminster, NJ were arrested for Theft of Services and Hindering Apprehension.  The two ordered $177.46 in food at Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 970 US 22.  Once they received the food they took it and exited the store without paying.  They were both released with pending court appearances.

 

On 07/06/23 at approximately 1:00 PM a victim parked their 2012 Honda Accord in the lot for the Washington Valley Park on Newmans Lane.  When the victim returned to the vehicle they found that a wallet and credit card had been stolen from the interior of the vehicle.  The victim was unaware if they had locked the vehicle prior to leave it.

 

On 07/10/23 at approximately 5:49 PM, Mary Nikhitha Gode (age 23) from Boston, MA was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. Gode stole store merchandise valued at $853.48.  A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On 7/23/23 a resident from Holland Court reported they were notified by their RING camera of motion in their driveway.  They observed their vehicle being burglarized and immediately contacted the police.  The victim reported that the unknown actor(s) entered their unlocked vehicle and stole a pair of Oakley sunglasses from the interior of the vehicle.

On 06/10/23 a resident from Shields Lane reported their vehicle had been stolen in the overnight hours.  The vehicle had been parked in the victim’s driveway and the key fobs were still in the victim’s possession.

 

On 6/10/23 a resident from Riddle Court reported their vehicle had been burglarized in the overnight hours.  The vehicle had been parked in the lot directly in front of the residence.  The victim reported that an unknown actor(s) entered their unlocked vehicle and stole a purse from the vehicle. 

 

On 6/10/23 a resident from Glen Eyre Drive reported their vehicle had been burglarized in the early morning hours.  The victim reported that an unknown actor(s) entered their unlocked vehicle and went through the vehicle’s glove compartment.  The victim did not report anything missing at the time of the incident.

 

On 6/11/23 at approximately 5:00 PM, Clara Guio (age 68) from Bound Brook, NJ was stopped for shoplifting at Marshals, located at 125 Promenade Boulevard.  Guio stole store merchandise valued at $332.77.  A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
