Bridgewater, NJ – On Monday, 07/09/18 at approximately 3:20 pm, a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian occurred at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. The location of the crash was in Lot # 4, near the Macy’s merchandise “pick up” area. A 2017 Mazda driven by Chinmayi Parikh (age 33) of Piscataway NJ struck Marion Kelley (age 62) of Bedminster as she was walking in the parking lot.
**UPDATE**- 07/12/18
The pedestrian that was struck has died due the injuries she had sustained.
The motor vehicle crash is still under investigation.
The crash is being investigated by the Bridgewater Township Police Department Traffic Safety Bureau. Any witnesses are asked to contact Bridgewater Township Traffic Safety Officer Frederick Brittain at 908-722-4111 ext 4178.
